Anona Festival / Regional Exhibition of Anona (Custard Apple) - Madeira

The Anona Festival is held in the parish of Faial on the north side of the island between February and March.

The Anona Festival started in 1990, when a group of producers wanted to promote their products and call the attention of Madeirans in general. This exhibition is especially dedicated to this fruit and its derived products such as liquors, puddings, ice creams and drinks. The program, with the participation of hundreds of farm owners, includes music and contests, with a traditional Madeira flavor.
