We are aware that tourism, because of its versatility, is a sector of the market that can help the economic development and social sustainability of an area. Therefore, we want to contribute to a type of tourism that respects our environment. We use new ideas involving our natural resources, specifically places and characteristics unique in our island and our people, which will in turn help to distribute the wealth, energise our local economy and reinforce our social, cultural and environmental potential.

We believe that our services should be a natural result of our natural resources. We cannot have tourism that is contrary to the place where it is practised, nor an offer of services that are not based on its diversity.

As such, in our spare time we endeavour to discover new nook and crannies, places known to provide pleasure which we do not wish to keep only to ourselves, but to share this information with those who visit us. Above all, there is nothing like our natural resources to show our unique identity.

We create specific products to promote our local traditions and by doing so we usually use the expertise of local artisans and people involved in the maintenance of the island's tradition and culture.

Madeira is a celebration of life! A place where the joy of living is constantly celebrated: all year round there are feasts and festivities, cultural and sport events, things to do and see, museums and historical monuments, parades, and musical festivals which we also like to participate in.

Some of our greatest treasures are the Laurel Forest and the Levadas, which we try hard to promote either through specific programs i.e. walking tours, canyon, etc., or by participating in programs of nature preservation. We also promote the local typical gastronomy through specific programs and work closely with hotels already promoting sustainable tourism.

Meet Emilio Rodrigues who considers himself to be a citizen of the world! He started out approximately 40 years ago in the tourism sector, in order to divulge to all and sundry what is good, unique, and typical in each corner of the World!

Set up in 1980 by Emilio Rodrigues (MD) as a family-based company, the agency has established itself as a leading travel agency on Madeira Island. Nowadays Emilio Rodrigues' son and daughter, Gustavo Rodrigues and Andreia Rodrigues, have also embraced this project and share the management of the company.

Our vast experience and professional position enabled us to see steady growth, making us the solid company we are today with an established tradition in our market. We are specialists in ground handling as well as a transmitter, being both Retail and Operator for some markets.

We provide personal assistance through an excellent professional team, who guarantee quality and speed in dealing with reservations for flights, hotel accommodation, packages both simple and thematic, and excursions (both regular or tailor-made). Culture and sightseeing excursions all over the island are easily incorporated into all types of programmes. The small size of the island, yet high concentration of historical sites, are valuable assets for tight schedules, transfers and Rent-a-car.

Madeira's countryside is ideal for team-building activities like jeep safaris, photo rallies, treasure hunts, mountain and Levada walks, tracking, canoeing, water sports, big game fishing, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, canyon, yachting, mountain biking, paragliding and helicopter rides.
