Caring for destination
Main area of focus in Caring for the Destination:
We focus on the historical and cultural aspects of Madeira by offering guided tours which help the tourists learn about the unknown aspects of the place and its people.
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
We focus on the historical and cultural aspects of Madeira by offering guided tours, which help the tourists, learn about the curious and unknown aspects of the place and its people.
We offer sightseeing tours for the city's inhabitants as well as tourists who visit Madeira Island. Our guides are locals and are passionate about the island, its history and culture. We are committed to preserving Madeira's culture and history for future generations.
We will pass by Câmara de Lobos, a typical fishing town, where the livelihood of most of the older locals is fishing. This town supplies fresh fish to many restaurants in Madeira.
Guests are requested to let the operators know whether they would like to be picked up from their hotels, the main road, or from the Avenida do Mar hotel's bus stop (near Galerias São Lourenço).
