Hotel Jardim Atlantico is ideal for a relaxing holiday close to nature, experiencing some of Madeira's lovely walks.
The Hotel is well known for the Barefoot Path built with the desire to create something new, unknown and innovative that could be integrated in nature.
The barefoot path is approx. 800 m long and it is made up of several natural elements such as pines, black sand, golden sand from the neighbouring island of Porto Santo, beach pebbles, among others. These local elements provide a sensation of well-being and harmony.
Hotel Jardim Atlantico is a green hotel, certified with ISO 14001 and recognised by Eco-Hotel, European Eco-Label and Biosphere Hotel. Ecological awareness is clearly visible in the careful way the gardens are taken care of, the hotel's energy-saving systems, the environment-friendly activities for the guests and a restaurant with various vegetarian and whole-food cuisines.
