Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
We offer sightseeing tours for the city's inhabitants as well as tourists who visit Madeira Island. Our guides are locals and are passionate about the island, its history and culture. We are committed to preserving Madeira's culture and history for future generations.
During this tour, participants will visit local villages in the east coast of the island and have the opportunity to support the community by purchasing local handicrafts and souvenirs. Participants will also be able to taste the culinary delights of the region in the restaurant where we will stop for lunch.
Guests are requested to let the operators know whether they would like to be picked up from their hotels, the main road or from Avenida do Mar hotel's bus stop (near Galerias São Lourenço).
Pick-ups outside Funchal, Caniço, Machico and Santa Cruz areas incur additional charges. Guests are requested to ask the operators for a quote.
