Camacha village is a famous wickerwork centre. Guests get to visit the factory and see artisans at work and also purchase articles from the wide collection available.
Pico do Arieiro is the second highest summit on the island (1810 m).
Ribeiro Frio is a natural park where guests get to see a trout hatchery.
After visiting the beautiful area of Faial, guests can climb up to Santana, famous for its typical triangular thatched houses. The images of these houses are one of the most popular, well known and recognised pictures of Madeira. This city owes its name to its patron: Saint Anne. The city's traditional crafts include baskets, cloth tapestry, woollen clothing, traditional embroidery, caps with ear flaps (warm and commonly known as vilão caps, which means peasant caps). Guests can buy these articles in any of the several souvenir shops around the island.
Portela is a viewpoint (670 m) from where guests can view the impressive rock formations of the Penha D'Águia and a part of the north coast.
At Ponta de São Lourenço, guests enjoy a magnificent view of the most eastern point of the island.
The tour returns to Funchal after visiting the town of Machico (bay where the discoverers first disembarked in 1420).
